Documenting the “Thai Picknick”, an informal meeting of the Vienna Thai community, taking place every Saturday and Sunday at the Danube Island. The photos will be used at an exhibition called “Mixed”, which will focus on diversity – the city’s DNA. For centuries, Vienna has been a place where languages and traditions mixed and where genders, cultures, and utopias were negotiated. Beyond the cliché of the peaceful capital of a multi-ethnic empire, “Mixed” follows new paths to explore the city’s heterogeneity.
